This year's APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade Meeting (MRT) was held in Chile on May 17 and 18. Our delegation was headed by Minister Responsible for Trade, Mr. John Chen-Chung Deng, and included Director General of the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ms. Jen-Ni Yang and colleagues. Our team actively participated in discussions on various topics and exchanged views with representatives from the APEC Member Economies. We also took the opportunity to actively seek support from Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) members for our accession to the Partnership.
