ANZTEC to enter into forceOffice of Trade Negotiations

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Wellington and the New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office (NZCIO) in Taipei are pleased to announce that with the completion of legal processes that the economic cooperation agreement between New Zealand and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei) will enter into force on 1 December 2013.

The agreement, known as ANZTEC, was signed on 10 July 2013.

Taiwan is New Zealand's 8th largest goods export market, worth $850 million in the year to May 2013.
