Reminder to operators to note the U.S. Department of Commerce’s announcement on the case of Fujian Jinhua Integrated Circuit Company, Ltd (Jinhua)2018-11-26

The US Department of Commerce posted an announcement on October 30 stating that export license is required from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) for all transfers of commodities, software and technology listed under the EAR that are U.S. made or made with 25% or more U.S.-origin content to Fujian Jinhua Integrated Circuit Company, Ltd (Jinhua).


Businesses that violate the above-mentioned export license requirements will incur fines or be included on the US entities list, and prohibited to attain US technology or goods.
