Trade Minister, Mr. John Deng, made an intervention at the APEC annual ministerial meeting held in Papua New Guinea in November 2018

 

APEC Annual Ministerial Meeting in 2018 was held on November 15 in Port Mosby, the capital of Papua New Guinea. Taiwan’s Minister without Portfolio and concurrently Chief Trade Representative Mr. John Chen-Chung Deng and Minister of the National Development Association Mei-Ling Chen, jointly led a delegation to attend this meeting. APEC Member Economies focused on two issues: (1) improving connectivity and deepening regional economic integration, and (2) promoting sustainable and inclusive growth through structural reform. We exchanged views and implementation experience during the meeting. We also had bilateral sideline talks and exchanged views with various Member Economies, which yielded fruitful results.
